Values are placeholders. The principle is not: every layer should know which network it expects.
Recommended assertions
- Reject addresses or payment requests for a different network.
- Reject node responses identifying a different network.
- Use visually distinct test environments.
- Never reuse production signing credentials in development.
- Test invalid signatures, insufficient balance, replay attempts, stale nonces, malformed fields, and unavailable peers.
- Test application behavior when a transaction is observed but not finalized.
